You’ll love this role if you’re ready for consistent work, clear expectations and ownership of your own patch. 

You’ll be on the road inspecting damaged homes and making practical decisions within policy and building standards. Instead of just doing the repair, you’ll assess the damage, validate the claim and sign off on the work yourself. 

We’ll start you with three weeks at HQ, travel covered. Then you’ll shadow experienced Assessors before taking on your own jobs, managing your diary and keeping repairs moving the right way. 

What you’ll be doing 

• Servicing across Maitland, Newcastle and Central Coast.
• Inspect damaged homes in-person to validate claims 
• Scope repairs accurately using the best repair method and authorise the work. 
• Apply policy, legislation and industry standards 
• Manage your own diary and workload 
• Work closely with builders and service providers to ensure quality repairs 
• Keep documentation tight and compliant 
• Balance cost control with customer experience 

What you’ll have 

• Experience in the Home Insurance Industry or Home Assessing
• Construction industry experience with a building or trade qualification (e.g. Carpentry, Plumbing).
