We’re looking for an Intermediated Claims Manager to join our Strategic Partnerships team on a 12-month contract. In this role, you’ll lead a team managing claims across a runoff intermediated portfolio covering Home, Landlord and SME products, ensuring fair, compliant and efficient claims outcomes.

This is a people leadership role where you’ll provide technical guidance on complex first and third-party property claims, work closely with brokers and internal stakeholders, and support your team to deliver strong service and performance outcomes.

 

What you'll bring

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of Claims Specialists managing property claims within an intermediated portfolio
  • Provide technical guidance on complex first and third party property claims
  • Monitor performance, support capability development and drive strong claims outcomes
  • Build strong working relationships with brokers, partners and internal stakeholders
  • Support the resolution of disputed or complex claims
  • Ensure claims practices align with regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, service delivery and operational efficiency

 

What you'll do

  • Strong experience managing complex property insurance claims (first party essential, third party highly regarded)
  • Proven experience leading and developing teams in a complex service environment
  • Strong understanding of property claims legislation, regulation and industry best practice
  • Experience working with brokers or intermediated insurance channels highly regarded
  • Excellent stakeholder management and conflict resolution skills
  • Commercial mindset with a solutions-focused approach to decision making
  • Strong planning, organisation and communication skills
