About the Role

As an Intermediated Claims Specialist, you’ll manage a portfolio of complex and express claims, delivering outstanding service while ensuring optimal financial outcomes and timely resolutions.

This is a hands-on position where you’ll work closely with customers, brokers, and suppliers to drive claims through to resolution, while maintaining strong compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage a portfolio of 80 - 120 home and landlord claims (complex and express)
  • Deliver great customer experiences through clear communication and strong relationships
  • Drive timely claim resolutions and sound financial outcomes
  • Work closely with brokers, loss adjusters, and builders
  • Set and manage claim reserves in line with expected outcomes
  • Ensure all claims meet regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Identify and manage risks, including reporting and improvement opportunities
  • Contribute to a safe workplace and a strong risk-aware team culture
  • Look for ways to improve processes and efficiency

 

What You’ll Bring

  • 2+ years’ experience managing home and/or landlord insurance claims
  • Solid understanding of claims handling, legislation, and industry practices
  • Experience working with brokers and within general insurance
  • Strong customer service skills in a complex environment
  • Commercially minded and solutions-focused
  • Highly organised with strong time management skills
  • Able to manage your workload independently
  • Confident communicator who builds strong relationships
