You will love this role if you enjoy turning regulation into practical advice for the business and want a role that combines technical compliance work with stakeholder engagement. You’ll have breach reporting experience and want to deepen your expertise in the general insurance industry by providing practical compliance advice to the business.

You’re a self-starter who takes ownership, enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative team, and values strong relationships with the business.

This role is ideally based at our Head Office in Sippy Downs, with three days per week in the office. We are also open to candidates based in our Chermside office, with one day per week at Head Office and two days in Chermside.

What you’ll be doing

  • Managing compliance incidents and breach assessments in line with regulatory requirements
  • Supporting and enhancing the compliance management framework
  • Maintaining and monitoring the obligations register and regulatory alerts
  • Conducting regulatory impact assessments and helping the business understand new obligations
  • Preparing compliance reports, risk profiles and committee papers
  • Working closely with teams across the business to ensure compliance obligations are understood and met
  • Monitoring compliance activities and supporting risk and assurance processes

  • Ability to provide clear, practical and commercial compliance advice
  • Builds strong relationships with stakeholders and works collaboratively with the business
  • Proactive, organised and meets deadlines without needing to be chased
  • Escalates risks and issues early and communicates clearly
