As a Home Assessor at Youi, you will oversee home and building claims by applying your technical expertise and a deep understanding of the claims procedure to determine the most favourable outcomes for our customers.
You will also cultivate and sustain strong relationships with both our customers and the repairer network, all while upholding a high standard of customer service to represent the Youi brand.
The geographic scope of this position covers South Brisbane, Brisbane CBD, and Gold Coast.
About the role:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of homes and buildings
- Supervising the overall quality of the claims process
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
- Detecting and mitigating instances of fraud
- Attaining rapid resolution times and managing costs efficiently
- Validation of claim and repair costs
About You
- Experience in Home Claims Management or Home Assessing
- Experience in the construction industry with a building or trade qualification e.g. carpentry, plumbing - preferred but not required
- Ability to compile scope of works and project manage builds
- Familiarity with the terminology and procedures associated with claims and building
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities
- A dedicated commitment to delivering outstanding customer service with an ability to show empathy and care
- Competent computer literacy
