About the role  

The Regulatory Affairs Analyst supports the team in managing Youi's regulatory engagement, ensuring compliance with Youi’s Regulatory standards. 

Ways of working  

This position is located at our headquarters on the Sunshine Coast, Sippy Downs.  

We operate with a hybrid approach, requiring office presence from Tuesday to Thursday on location, while offering the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.  

Key priorities  

  • Regulatory Correspondence: Coordinate and manage regulatory correspondence, ensuring all deadlines are met. 

  • Support Senior leaders to engage with Regulators effectively, transparently, and proactively.  

  • Draft communications to regulators. 

  • Strong stakeholder management skills including the ability to coordinate regulatory responses and to influence internal business stakeholders when required.  

  • Document & Calendar Management: Maintain a regulatory engagement calendar, ensuring timely action and responses. 

  • Reporting: Report on regulatory engagement and proactively monitor and report on emerging regulations and trends. 

  • Advice & Support: Provide timely, accurate regulatory advice to the business and respond to inquiries. 

  • Project Support: Contribute to special projects and support the broader Compliance team. 

  • Workplace Safety: Adhere to WHS policies and ensure safety standards are met. 

  • Team Culture: Promote a collaborative environment that reflects Youi’s values. 
     

About you  
Experience & Knowledge: 

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a compliance, communications or similar role within Financial Services. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Strong understanding of Australian legislation and regulations. 

  • Knowledge of the general insurance market. 

  • High attention to detail and strong proofreading skills. 

  • Strong time management, multitasking, and organisational abilities.
