Trade the workshop for a desk (and keep your trade smarts). If you’ve spent your career in the workshop fixing, spraying, or rebuilding, you know vehicles inside out. Now it’s time to use that experience in a new way. As a Desktop Motor Assessor, you’ll assess vehicle damage from the desk in our Ann Street office. In this role where your trade experience makes all the difference, you’ll determine total loss outcomes, review repair quality, and support customers through the claims process.

 

What you’ll do and where

  • This is a full-time, Monday to Friday role, performed onsite at our Ann Street office
  • Complete detailed desktop assessments of vehicle damage across various states
  • Conduct potential total loss market valuations
  • Review repair quality, compliance, and cost accuracy
  • Detect and reduce potential fraud
  • Build trusted relationships with our repairer network
  • Deliver great service to customers and colleagues alike

 

What you bring

  • Trade qualified in Panel Beating, Spray Painting or Mechanics (essential), or
  • Hold a Cert IV or Diploma in Loss Adjusting or Assessing
  • Experience in estimating or assessing is highly regarded
  • Comfortable using new systems and technology
  • Clear communicator and team player
