In Recoveries, we’ve already paid the claim because our customer wasn’t at-fault. We are now in the position to recover all costs from the at-fault third party.
You’ll enjoy this Recoveries role if you want to sharpen your negotiation game, build deeper liability expertise, and turn pushback into understanding using a firm but friendly proactive approach. You’ll review accident details, apply road rules and legislation, issue formal recovery demands, and negotiate disputed liability, often with uninsured third parties, who may not always agree with you.
This is a challenging yet rewarding role where you play a pivotal part in supporting vulnerable people involved in an accident, helping them through difficult situations, and working with them to find fair solutions.
What you’ll be doing
- A full-time role in-office at Sippy Downs, Monday to Friday
- Assisting vulnerable people involved in an accident where our customer wasn't at-fault
- Building the recovery case by reviewing accident details, statements, and evidence to determine liability
- Drafting and issuing formal recovery demands, negotiating disputed liability directly with uninsured third parties
- Following up consistently when matters stall
- Managing a portfolio of claims at different stages
- Keeping clear, compliant documentation to support every position taken
- Working toward measurable recovery targets
