This is a dedicated ER Specialist role at Youi, responsible for driving employee relations across the business with the support and guidance of an experienced ER leader.

This is the kind of role business partners rely on when matters become complex, sensitive or carry higher risk. You’ll be involved in a broad range of employee relations matters, from performance and conduct issues through to formal investigations and escalated cases, providing balanced advice that supports sound decisions and protects both people and the business.

You’ll work closely with P&C Business Partners, senior leaders and operational managers across Youi, advising on situations that require careful judgement and clear direction. You’ll also partner with Legal, Risk and Compliance where matters carry increased risk or require deeper interpretation of legislation and policy.

Your new team

Our ER, WHS and Business Partnering team supports business partners across Youi to handle the people moments that aren’t always straightforward.

We work across the full range of employee relations matters, from early concerns through to formal investigations and more complex cases, helping land outcomes that are fair, consistent and aligned to legislation and policy.

We’re known for being practical, calm under pressure and focused on outcomes that are fair for everyone involved.

You’ll work closely with an experienced ER leader who provides oversight, guidance and support, while giving you the autonomy to lead how ER is delivered across the business day to day.

What you’ll be doing

• Manage Youi's employee relations framework (including policies, processes and templates)
• Support and advise business partners on a wide range of employment matters (conduct, performance, unplanned leave, unlawful conduct, workplace investigations end to end)
• Manage complex and sensitive ER matters, as needed
• Interpret legislation, awards and policies
• Support and advise on workplace change projects and consultation
• Represent Youi in external claim matters (Fair Work Commission, anti-discrimination commissions, workers’ compensation claims)
