As part of this Claims team, you will speak with Youi clients at a time they need us the most following a catastrophe, about their Building and Contents. You play a pivotal role in shaping Youi’s reputation and relationships. As the key point of contact for clients and service providers, you'll apply your strong problem-solving and communication skills to ensure positive claims experiences related to catastrophes.

The role

• 9-month contract, onsite and full time at our Sippy Downs office
• Monday to Friday with set and consistent hours
• Handle and process insurance claims related to catastrophic events, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Communicate in a compassionate and professional manner, providing support and guidance
• Investigate and assess the damage, loss, or injury to determine coverage and liability
• Collaborate with internal teams, adjusters, and external partners to facilitate the claims resolution process
• Keep detailed records and documentation of claims activities and communications
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance policies, regulations, and industry trends
• Provide timely updates to customers on the status of their claims
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards

 About you

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively present and articulate information
• Experience in administration, with high attention to detail
• Skilled at multitasking and thrives in a busy environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and sound decision-making capabilities
• Familiarity with case or portfolio management is a plus
