About the Role

An opportunity is now available for an experienced compliance professional who has had broad exposure to financial services, to join us and play a key role in our Risk Transformation Program. Working as part of the broader RTP program team alongside other Compliance and Risk SMEs, the successful person will partner with the business to uplift our compliance management framework, improve operational efficiencies, uphold best practice as well as assist the business to promote and drive a strong risk and compliance culture. There are various streams of work involved in the program, and you will work alongside our Head of Compliance assisting with everything from strategic planning through to implementation of policies, procedures and systems, as well as basic training.

This is an exceptional opportunity to be both strategic and “hands on”, working closely with our senior leadership team and driving the program forward through the provision of your robust compliance advice and outcome delivery.

About You

To support Youi’s ongoing challenger growth, this position is most suited to a seasoned compliance professional with experience across financial services, or even better, insurance! We're looking for someone who has a track record in providing sound compliance solutions and advice that supports business leaders. Our ideal candidate will possess strong communication, relationship management, engagement and time management skills in order to have impact and influence, as well as navigate the complexities of a new regulatory environment, with the many changes happening in the financial services sector. Professional qualifications in legal, business, compliance or risk disciplines are preferable, as well as significant knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements across the financial services sector. If you have specific experience building or uplifting compliance frameworks and policies, we'd love to hear from you!

This is a pivotal role where you will have the opportunity and autonomy to have a real impact on Youi’s success as well as fast-track your career being involved in such an important program of work.

This will be an 18-month fixed term, full time contract, including full entitlements to annual and personal leave. Our head office is based on the beautiful Sunshine Coast in Sippy Downs. If you're able to spend some time at HQ, great! If not, and you'd prefer full time WFH, or time in our Brisbane office, let's chat further!
